In November, mobile cinema embarked on its first tour! As part of the project “Values That Last” organized under the patronage of the marshal of the Lublin Voivodeship, Jarosław Stawiarski, the shows were held in various corners of the Voivodeship. Within three months, the cinema visited Terespol, Biała Podlaska, Nałęczów, Kraśnik and Bełżyce, among others.

At the same time, the shows were also held in the heart of Lublin, in the Centrum Spotkania Kultur. We are very grateful to CSK for co-organizing the tour!

In total, during the entire project, the cinema reached several thousand viewers, and all the films were played in total more than five thousand times! All of this was achieved using only 20 pairs of VR goggles! Information about the cinema tour - the number of read posts and watched trailers reached a total of several tens of thousands of views! We can see that there are still many places that would very much like for the cinema to reach them!

The mobile cinema has reached all the different age groups of the local communities. It visited community centers and schools - and it was always of great interest! Everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, wanted to see our films, and queues of people lined up in front of the halls where the shows were held!

The oldest viewer was 94 years old! “I felt... like I was in heaven!” - this delight perfectly shows that VR has no upper age restrictions and there is nothing to be afraid of! Virtual reality technology offers the possibility of unique experiences for everyone! That is why it is so valuable to use it for education. 360-degree videos can take the viewer to a completely different place, immersing him in the subject, allowing him to see much much more. At the same time, the incredible sensation of being transferred makes the subject much more memorable.

During the tour, we mainly showed “The Way” - our series dedicated to the art depicting the Passion of the Christ, helping us to better understand art and culture. In order to fully learn how to appreciate art, someone must first show it to us and tell about it - this is what the series “The Way” is all about. Also our virtual pilgrimage to Jerusalem was of great interest. And December has become the perfect time to invite younger viewers to virtually visit Bethlehem as part of Christmas celebrations.
